New Mexico needs a trained and skilled workforce to address the needs
of young children and their families. That's why the Family Infant Toddler (FIT) Studies Courses were developed to help prepare all levels of early childhood professionals in how they can best support the needs of young
children,
birth to three, and their families.
These courses are designed to prepare individuals to work
in the field of home visiting, as well as early intervention
and Early Head Start.
The FIT Studies Courses are part of the FIT pathway for
professional development and can lead not only to an
associate of arts degree, but also bachelor's and master's
degrees.
